New York, NY – October 1, 2026: Infosys (NSE, BSE, NYSE: INFY), a prominent international provider of AI-driven business consulting and technology solutions, has unveiled a strategic partnership with Columbia University aimed at advancing the creation and application of artificial intelligence technologies. This alliance establishes the Infosys Topaz – Columbia University Enterprise AI Center. Spearheaded by Columbia Engineering, the new facility is built to help clients quicken their AI-first advancements and promote the responsible, enterprise-scale rollout of both generative and agentic AI. This initiative builds on Infosys Topaz—a comprehensive suite of services, platforms, and solutions powered by generative and agentic AI—thereby reinforcing the company’s standing in enterprise AI.
Following Infosys’ history of partnering with premier academic institutions, the program will host joint innovation sessions, workshops, and research projects with cross-industry clients. The cooperative effort centers on three core research areas:
-
AI-First Experiences and Processes: Transforming user engagement via natural interfaces like voice and free-form text, while helping businesses overhaul traditional models and workflows by cutting out redundant steps and administrative layers. By rethinking these processes and interactions, companies can spark innovation, capture exceptional value, and reach superior results.
-
Responsible and Sustainable AI: Tackling challenges related to cybersecurity, emerging regulations, ethics, and energy use to guarantee that AI systems are built to be inherently sustainable, transparent, and explainable.
-
AI for Marketing: Leveraging artificial intelligence to craft hyper-personalized consumer experiences, boost campaign performance through autonomous agents, and convert marketing departments into quantifiable growth drivers using predictive modeling, advanced analytics, and generative content.
