Following a dip below USD 1.47 on September 30, XRP climbed back to trade around USD 1.5086. This recovery coincided with the transition of an XRP Ledger initiative by Ripple and CSD BR into a live market setting.
Simultaneously, a shareholder vote reportedly greenlit the merger between Evernorth and Armada Acquisition Corp. II. This decision moves the Ripple-supported enterprise closer to its anticipated NASDAQ debut under the ticker XRPN.
As reports of the vote spread, XRP appreciated by roughly 1.89%. Furthermore, the digital asset maintained its position above major short-, medium-, and long-term moving averages, demonstrating sustained market momentum.
XRP Ledger Project Moves into Live Brazilian Markets
Ripple and Brazilian financial infrastructure company CSD BR have transitioned their blockchain collaboration out of the testing phase. The inaugural phase now reflects ownership records of specific BTG Pactual investment funds on the public XRP Ledger.
Operating as a settlement provider, central securities depository, and registrar, CSD BR manages upward of BRL 22 trillion—roughly USD 4 trillion—in registered assets across its network.
That aggregate figure does not reflect assets migrating onto the XRPL. This initial rollout focuses exclusively on select BTG Pactual fund shares, with CSD BR maintaining its current architecture as the official ledger of ownership.
Eligible fund shares already managed by CSD BR are converted into tokens utilizing the Multi-Purpose Token standard on the XRP Ledger. Authorized participants can subsequently cross-reference these blockchain entries against the official CSD BR database.
Consequently, XRPL functions as an auditing and secondary record-keeping tier. Users can verify records more efficiently without disrupting the underlying systems responsible for custody, settlement, and ownership governance.
CSD BR Keeps Control as XRPL Adds an Audit Layer
This live deployment preserves regulated oversight directly within the established framework of CSD BR. Before gaining access, approved banking and corporate clients must successfully complete anti-money-laundering and know-your-customer procedures.
Additionally, CSD BR preserves full authority over both the participants and the assets. The organization holds the capability to reverse transactions or freeze assets should judicial authorities or regulators mandate it.
As a result, the blockchain does not supplant Brazil’s current financial market infrastructure. Instead, entries on the XRP Ledger serve as an supplementary reference point that authorized entities can audit and review.
Ripple and CSD BR intend to evaluate a more expansive second phase should the record-mirroring stage meet expectations. Subsequent efforts might explore direct asset issuance and trading on the XRPL. For the time being, the initiative’s scope remains restricted. BTG Pactual fund shares constitute the sole initial use case, while CSD BR systems remain the authoritative registry for settlement and registration data.
This framework integrates public blockchain innovation into a compliant, existing workflow while ensuring legal oversight and official record-keeping stay with the Brazilian financial infrastructure provider.

Evernorth Vote Adds Another Catalyst for XRP
XRP’s recent rebound also came on the heels of news that shareholders of Armada Acquisition Corp. II voted to back the merger with Evernorth. The update was shared by Bear Champ, an XRPL participant who noted he attended the shareholder assembly.
“Listened in on the Armada/Evernorth merger vote, it passed,” Bear Champ posted on X.
Based on the terms outlined by Evernorth, shareholder endorsement permits the proposed transaction to advance toward completion. The company expects NASDAQ trading under the ticker XRPN once the remaining conditions for listing and closing are met.
Earlier on September 30, XRP climbed toward USD 1.55 before correcting downward. It subsequently consolidated mostly between USD 1.48 and USD 1.50 over several hours prior to a fresh push by buyers. A midday surge lifted XRP near USD 1.54, followed by a drift back toward USD 1.50 and a subsequent bounce from its sub-USD 1.47 dip.
At the latest check, XRP hovered near USD 1.51. This price action mirrored both the reported merger approval and a series of intraday gains and pullbacks.
A Brief Roundup
XRP climbed past USD 1.50 as Ripple and CSD BR advanced their regulated XRPL project into live deployment. Concurrently, reported approval of Evernorth’s merger propelled its planned NASDAQ listing forward. The Brazilian initiative remains confined to mirroring records, with CSD BR maintaining ultimate authority over settlement and ownership.
