On October 6, Vivo officially released the V80 and S2 FE in the Indian market. The V80 has a starting price of Rs. 62,999 for the variant with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Consumers opting for the higher-end configuration featuring 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage will need to pay approximately Rs. 79,999. This new device features a 6.59-inch 1.5K AMOLED screen with a 144Hz refresh rate, is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, and houses a 7,200mAh battery that supports 90W fast charging.
A major selling point for the V80 is its Zeiss-branded camera system. The setup pairs a 50MP Zeiss primary camera with a 50MP Zeiss telephoto lens offering 3x optical zoom. For selfies and video calls, the smartphone is equipped with a 50MP ZEISS autofocus front-facing camera.
The V80 will be available starting October 13 via Flipkart, the official Vivo website, and physical retail locations. Meanwhile, the S2 FE is scheduled to launch its sale on October 20, with a base price of Rs. 38,999 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage configuration, and Rs. 42,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage model. The standout feature of the S2 FE is its massive 10,000mAh battery accompanied by 44W charging support. It operates on OriginOS 6, which is built upon Android 16.

Ultimately, Vivo has adopted two contrasting strategies for these recent releases. The S2 FE emphasizes affordability and endurance, whereas the V80 focuses on robust hardware, rapid charging, and superior photography capabilities.
