Vivo is preparing to introduce its latest foldable smartphone, the X Fold 6, to the Indian market. According to a recent leak, the device is slated for release on October 6, aligning with the domestic launch of the Vivo V80 and Vivo S2 FE.
Tipster Abhishek Yadav reports that the X Fold 6 debut is scheduled for 12 PM on October 6, though Vivo has not yet verified this timeline. The foldable device has previously debuted in China and is scheduled for rollout in select international regions as well.
Expected Price and Colors
According to circulating leaks, the X Fold 6 targets the high-end foldable market. Reports indicate an anticipated Indian price bracket between Rs 1,29,999 and Rs 1,59,999, though these figures remain unconfirmed and subject to change upon Vivo’s formal announcement.
The handset is rumored to offer two configurations: 12GB of RAM paired with either 256GB or 512GB of storage. Consumers may have the option to select from Prism Black and Nebula Teal colorways.

Specifications on Offer
The Vivo X Fold 6 is reported to feature an 8.02-inch AMOLED primary interior display alongside a 6.51-inch AMOLED external cover screen. Both panels are anticipated to feature a 120Hz refresh rate for fluid scrolling.
Performance is expected to be driven by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 Super chip, which utilizes a 3nm manufacturing process. Energy is reportedly supplied by a 7,000mAh battery supporting 80W wired charging and 40W wireless charging capabilities.
Regarding optics, the smartphone is rumored to incorporate a 200MP primary sensor featuring optical image stabilization, a 50MP ultrawide shooter, and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens. Dual 20MP front-facing cameras—positioned on both the inner and outer screens—are also anticipated.
The hardware is expected to operate on OriginOS 7 built on Android 17 and feature IP58 and IP59 certifications for water and dust resistance.
While Vivo has not yet disclosed official pricing or specifications, the influx of rumors indicates an impending reveal. Should the October 6 launch date prove accurate, consumers will soon receive official details regarding the X Fold 6’s release in India.
