Activision’s enduring shooter franchise is expanding with the upcoming release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 on October 23, 2026, leaving fans with under a month to get ready. Crafted by Infinity Ward alongside PC port lead Beenox, the title is slated for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC. On computers, the game will be available via Steam, Battle.net, and Xbox on PC.
Fans who secure digital pre-orders will unlock various perks prior to the launch date. Pre-ordering grants early entry to the Open Beta, and qualifying digital purchasers can dive into the Campaign ahead of the official worldwide debut. Furthermore, Activision has revealed extra in-game incentives linked to pre-orders and the title’s various editions.

Players who pre-purchase either the Standard or Vault Edition gain early access to the Open Beta. Furthermore, digital pre-orders include the Hunter Killer Operator Skin, usable in Modern Warfare 4 as well as Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 and Warzone under specific terms.
