You start to think about what youre not working on, and then you realize youre always thinking about something else. It becomes difficult to get your mind out of the way for a while.

I think the biggest problem with this is the very fact that people are so busy and distracted that they forget to get their minds off work. I think there is a need to be more intentional about this because it is detrimental to our mental health. People who do this regularly often have a tough time keeping their minds on their work. They might make an attempt to get their minds off work by doing something else, but in the end they find themselves stuck with their work.

In other words, it’s like a constant mental health crisis. The only way to solve this is to get out of the way and let your mind wander. The best advice I can give is to pay attention to what you’re doing and what you’re thinking and then write it down.

There are a few different kinds of classes, and I am particularly fond of the ones that focus on the more positive aspects of mental health, such as mindfulness meditation or cognitive behavioral therapy. While I can’t say with any certainty that these classes will solve all your problems, I do believe you might find they do help some of your problems.
