Cyber monday 2016 is a major conference that takes place in Dallas in March every year. During the conference, experts in the gaming industry will be discussing all sorts of things, from game design, to the future of the gaming industry, to the future of the industry itself. It’s one of the biggest gaming conferences in the world and it usually attracts about 200,000 people.
The conference is organized by the gaming industry’s trade association, the Game Developers Conference (GDC). GDC is one of the industry’s biggest conferences and most of its attendees come from the gaming industry. They come from all over the world and the conference is held in Dallas, Texas.
CyberMonday was born out of the frustration that these conferences were held in the middle of the year and no one was there to talk to, so this year many people decided to come anyway. While not a bad idea, the fact that it was held in the middle of the year and no one was there to talk, meant that it was one of the few times to be held in the dead of winter.
For all the people who came to CyberMonday, the only thing that stood out was the sheer volume of attendees. In fact, I had a good conversation with a number of people from the gaming industry, and they all felt the same way about it, so I’ll just say that I really think it’s a great event.
I don’t think there was much of a gaming industry to be found at this year’s Cyber Monday. It was pretty much the largest gathering of people (and I’m talking about people) who are interested in gaming itself, which is kind of what the whole event is about. However, people like myself have been coming for some time and it’s always great to see so many folks from across the board.
The whole thing was one big party with a wide range of gaming media in attendance. There was a lot of gaming industry stuff, like gaming podcasts, gaming events, gaming giveaways, games, gaming conventions, gaming expos, gaming-themed retail, gaming events, gaming conferences, gaming news, gaming video games, gaming hardware, gaming video games, gaming gear, gaming consoles, gaming consoles, gaming accessories and so on.
As a whole, it was a great party. Lots of great gaming media there – but we also got a lot of gaming conventions and gaming expos coverage. You just never know what you’ll get from any given convention. I’m still kind of hoping there’s some gaming gear to be had – that’s always a good thing.
We also got some great coverage of gaming news, like this one. There’s a trend in the industry right now of gaming news being made in a way that helps get gamers excited about what they’re playing. So it was really good fun to watch.
