Xiaomi has once again raised the price of the Xiaomi 17T in India. Following its introduction to the Indian market this June, the device has experienced its second Rs. 5,000 price increase. Both configurations are now more expensive. The 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant, previously priced at Rs. 64,999, is currently selling for Rs. 69,999.
Likewise, the version with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage now costs Rs. 74,999, up from Rs. 69,999. However, these previous amounts were not the original launch prices. When the handsets debuted in June, they were priced at Rs. 59,999 and Rs. 64,999, respectively, meaning the Xiaomi 17T is now Rs. 10,000 more expensive than when it first launched. These updated prices took effect on October 1.
The Xiaomi 17T features a 6.59-inch 1.5K AMOLED display supporting a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500-Ultra processor and houses a 6,500mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging. It also boasts Leica-engineered cameras, consisting of a 50-megapixel main sensor, a periscope lens, and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera. Shoppers can choose from Black, Blue, and Violet color options.

Xiaomi 17T Price Hike Comes Before Festive Sales
The timing of this price adjustment is notable, arriving just as India moves into the festive shopping season. During this period, Indian consumers frequently upgrade their electronic devices and phones amid online promotional events, and manufacturers usually provide substantial discounts on top-selling models to drive sales.
Consequently, the final transaction price may be more critical for buyers than the advertised discount percentage. A handset might feature a substantial festive markdown yet still end up costing more than it did prior to the recent price adjustments. It is important to compare the previous price, current price, and final offer.
Consumers who typically hold out for festive promotions will need to carefully evaluate the final transaction before purchasing. While the phone might still see markdowns during upcoming sales events, its baseline official price has climbed once again.
