On Tuesday, Steamhouse India shares climbed 10% on the BSE to reach Rs. 118.45, hitting the exchange’s maximum allowable daily gain, or upper circuit. The surge followed the release of the company’s financial results for the June quarter of FY27, which showed an 80.25% increase in net profit. The stock made its market debut just three weeks prior.
Profit and Sales Both Grow
For the quarter ending June 30, 2026, net profit reached Rs. 18.34 crore, compared to Rs. 10.18 crore during the same period the previous year. Profitability also advanced by over 30% sequentially from Rs. 14.10 crore in the March quarter. Total revenue grew 13.35% to Rs. 128.62 crore from Rs. 113.48 crore, driven by a 46.07% surge in steam sales. During this time, the firm supplied 305,816 tonnes of steam, marking a 16.70% year-over-year volume increase.
Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) went up 60.08% to Rs. 30.93 crore. The operating margin expanded by roughly seven percentage points, climbing to 24.05% from 17.03%. Management attributed these improvements to enhanced efficiency in utilizing waste-to-energy boilers and greater profitability per rupee of sales resulting from increased steam volume.
New Projects Lined Up
Steamhouse secured a Rs. 311-crore contract to construct and subsequently operate and maintain a 300 TPH (tonnes per hour) community boiler plant at the Bulk Drug Park located in Una, Himachal Pradesh, establishing a potential stream of recurring long-term revenue. Additionally, the business is developing a 3.04 MW ground-mounted solar project in Ankleshwar.
