The Reno 16 lineup from OPPO now includes the new Reno 16T, which debuted in China. This latest smartphone pairs a compact 6.32-inch screen with a substantial 6,700mAh battery, a 200-megapixel main camera, and MediaTek’s Dimensity 8550 Super processor. Pricing begins at CNY 3,699.
OPPO Reno 16T Price and Availability
In terms of pricing, the base model of the OPPO Reno 16T comes with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage for CNY 3,699. Meanwhile, the configuration featuring 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage is priced at CNY 4,499. While the device is currently listed on OPPO’s official Chinese website, there is no word yet on a potential launch in India.
The Reno 16T features a flexible 6.32-inch OLED screen that delivers a resolution of 2,640 × 1,216 pixels. This display offers a 120Hz refresh rate alongside a touch sampling rate reaching 240Hz. Furthermore, OPPO specifies that the panel can achieve a local peak brightness of up to 3,600 nits.
Dimension-wise, the device stands 151.21mm tall and is 72.42mm wide. The weight ranges from 188 grams to 191 grams, varying by the chosen colorway. Additionally, the phone boasts an IP69K dust and water resistance rating.
OPPO Reno 16T: Other Key Specs
Among its standout features is the photography setup. The Reno 16T houses a 200MP main camera equipped with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization), complemented by a 50MP ultrawide shooter and a 50MP telephoto lens that also features OIS.
The telephoto sensor enables 3.5x optical zoom alongside up to 120x digital zoom. For selfies, the front side houses a 50MP autofocus camera. Furthermore, the rear camera setup is capable of shooting 4K video at frame rates up to 60fps.
Powering the device is a 6,700mAh battery that supports 80W SuperVOOC fast charging technology. Under the hood, OPPO includes the Dimensity 8550 Super processor, paired with up to 16GB of RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. Connectivity options encompass 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. Operating on ColorOS 16, the smartphone also integrates an in-display fingerprint scanner and an infrared blaster for remote control functions.
