Just weeks following its September 29 release, Oppo has raised the price of the K14 Plus in India by between Rs. 3,000 and Rs. 5,000. These updated rates are now reflected on Oppo’s official Indian e-store, affecting every memory and storage tier. This upward price adjustment arrives amid a wave of broader smartphone pricing changes driven by escalating costs for memory components.
Originally priced at Rs. 29,999, the entry-level 6GB RAM and 128GB storage model is now priced at Rs. 32,999. The mid-tier 8GB RAM and 128GB version has gone from Rs. 32,999 to Rs. 36,999. In addition, the maximum configuration featuring 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage has jumped by Rs. 5,000 to reach Rs. 40,999.
Oppo K14 Plus Revised Pricing
This update places a noticeably higher price tag on the highest storage option shortly after its market debut. The Oppo K14 Plus continues to be offered in Star White and Solar Orange via the brand’s official Indian online shop. Customers are encouraged to evaluate available bank discounts and marketplace promotions prior to buying.
Specifications and Features
Under the hood, the Oppo K14 Plus is equipped with a 6.77-inch Full HD+ AMOLED screen that supports a refresh rate peaking at 144Hz. Driving the device is MediaTek’s Dimensity 7360 Max processor, paired with UFS 3.1 storage and LPDDR4X RAM. Camera capabilities consist of a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 2-megapixel monochrome lens, and a 16-megapixel front-facing shooter.
For power, the smartphone relies on a massive 8,000mAh battery paired with 45W wired charging capabilities. These hardware features emphasize battery life, screen performance, and daily usability. Nonetheless, the updated Oppo K14 Plus cost may diminish its attractiveness for consumers weighing alternative mid-tier options.
While Oppo has not officially specified a reason for the hike, it may be tied to a broader industry memory shortage. Similar cost increases have impacted devices from multiple brands over the past few months. Anyone looking to purchase the K14 Plus would be wise to weigh its new cost against rival handsets.
