According to the institution, the breach has been successfully contained, and standard banking functions are slowly returning to normal. While the precise financial damage is still under review, the bank stated that the losses will not jeopardize the group’s financial stability.
Bank Temporarily Suspended Certain Transactions
Crédit Mutuel Arkéa stated that its security personnel detected the breach and promptly alerted all relevant regulatory bodies and authorities. As a safety measure, specific transactions were halted to block any additional fraudulent activity and safeguard the institution.
