Bengaluru, India. Sep 24 – Truecaller has officially rolled out the Truecaller Scam Checker across its web platform and application. This newly introduced hub aims to help individuals rapidly evaluate potential scams and stay updated on emerging fraud trends, pushing the company’s anti-scam measures past traditional caller ID and spam-blocking functions.
By unifying various scam-detection features into one interface, the tool lets users examine questionable web links, look up telephone numbers, review related fraud reports, and gain clearer insight into suspicious situations prior to taking any action.
Through the Truecaller Scam Checker, users have the ability to:

Look up a phone number to review data from community signals and Truecaller’s detection mechanisms.

Search Scamfeed reports to locate comparable scams documented by other users.

Describe a concern in their own words to receive pertinent results, which feature link and number checks embedded in the text alongside matching community reports.
Combined, these features address the three standard components of a suspicious message: a number, a link, and a narrative. Users can evaluate all three elements simultaneously within seconds.
Looking ahead, the company intends to enhance the Truecaller Scam Checker by incorporating wider coverage of fraudulent tactics, screenshot-upload functionality for deeper analysis, user authentication features, and further capabilities.

Availability
The Truecaller Scam Checker is debuting in India via the Android application—with additional regions scheduled next—and globally via the official Truecaller website. iOS support and rollouts in other markets are scheduled for subsequent releases.
