I’ve been baking for as long as I can remember, and I still like to bake a lot. Whether it’s using old family recipes, or new, I keep my baking to a minimum. In the end, I’m not sure exactly why kids are so into baking, but somehow I feel like people are more likely to bake at home then at school. My wife is actually really into baking, and this may be one of the reasons why. I have seen her pull out the ingredients from the kitchen with her little ones. I have also seen her bake a cake without the frosting, which really makes me feel like she is getting a real treat.
I’ve seen my wife bake with my kids in the past, and I have been very impressed with the results. I know that baking is a lot of work for kids, but it is a great way to show them that you care about them. For me, I would like to bake more often, but at the same time I am a bit scared of ruining my children’s favorite snack.
