The summer is just a few weeks away. It’s no longer a time to hibernate or retreat into the comfort of your house. It’s a time to get out and start living your life.
November is my favorite month of the year because it reminds me of everything that I love about the summer. I love the weather, the color and patterns in the trees, the music, the food, and of course, the new releases.
The only thing I don’t love is that so much of it is being released on a weekly basis. I’m not about to be a martyr and leave my friends and family with a week of movies to enjoy.
The fact is that Zodiac has released 13 episodes in about a month, and we can’t wait to get them all on our hard-drive! So far the first episode has been released and it was pretty awesome, so I’m really looking forward to this one.
Zodiac is the latest incarnation of the “zodiac” series, a bunch of “zodiac” cartoons which are like a mix between a movie and a comic book with the characters appearing in the same world. Each series consists of a character, usually an animal, appearing in a cartoon that is themed around that character, often times being the last in a series before it jumps to a new one.
I’d say november 18 is the best of the zodiac series. It focuses on the zodiacs in the late 20s, mid 30s, and early 40s, which is kind of a cool way to look at it. I’m looking forward to seeing what the rest of the series looks like.
yeah, i saw november 18 in the theater today, the first time i’ve ever seen it. i saw it earlier this year. it was excellent.
The series of zodiac cartoons that appear in the mid-to-late 20s, mid-to-late 30s, and mid-to-late 40s all have the same theme—the early 30s in the 20s. November 18 takes that trend and flips it on its head and focuses on the early 30s in the 40s. And that’s cool as well. It’s like you’re watching a new series that’s just out of the gate.
That said, I can’t say I’ve seen more of the series since the last time it was on television, so I may have missed some things. This is probably the best of the bunch, though, in my opinion. The animation is crisp, the characters are unique, and the series has its own style and identity. The final episode is a great example of what this series might’ve looked like if it had come out in the early 2000s.
The animation in the final episode is so crisp, I love how the camera moves so easily and how the background is so crisp. I can imagine this series would have been very good if it had come out in the early 2000s, though.
