Tipster Abhishek Yadav suggests the Vivo X Fold 6 is slated to debut in India on October 6 at 12 PM. The leak indicates the foldable will be offered in two colorways and a pair of RAM and storage variants, alongside a worldwide release touted for October 1.
Vivo X Fold 6 India Launch Date
This Indian rollout follows the global launch by five days and comes roughly four months following the phone’s initial release in China. Vivo originally unveiled the X Fold 6 in China during June with a base price of CNY 7,999, which is approximately Rs. 1.05 lakh.
Although Vivo has previously verified that the foldable will debut in chosen international markets, the brand has not yet officially revealed a specific release date for India.
Vivo X Fold 6 India Variants, Colors
Based on the recent leak, the Indian market will receive the X Fold 6 in 12GB RAM + 256GB and 12GB RAM + 512GB options. The device is expected to come in Nebula Teal and Prism Black.
By comparison, the predecessor Vivo X Fold 5 was released in India in a sole Titanium Grey option with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
Additionally, software offerings may vary between the international and Chinese editions. The Chinese variant debuted running OriginOS 6 Fold, whereas the global release is rumored to feature OriginOS 7 instead.

Vivo X Fold 6 Features and Specifications
The Chinese edition features an 8.02-inch folding AMOLED main display boasting a 120Hz refresh rate, alongside a 6.51-inch AMOLED cover display that shares the same 120Hz refresh rate. It holds IP58 and IP59 ratings for water and dust resistance.
Under the hood, the smartphone runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 9500 Super chipset paired with an ARM Mali G1-Ultra GPU. It accommodates up to 16GB of LPDDR5x Ultra RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage.
Photography capabilities on the Vivo X Fold 6 include a triple-camera rear system optimized by Zeiss, consisting of a 200-megapixel main sensor, a 50-megapixel ultrawide sensor, and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto sensor offering up to 100x digital zoom. Furthermore, the device is equipped with dual 20-megapixel front cameras for selfies.
Powering the hardware is a 7,000mAh battery that supports 40W wireless charging and 80W wired charging. Dimensions for the phone are 157.16 x 145.66 x 4.40mm when unfolded, and 157.16 x 74.26 x 9.40mm when folded shut.
