I was in the middle of a long conversation with a friend who was curious about me and my work when he asked me what I do. I told him I worked at a computer company. He said, “Wow! That sounds cool!” I responded with a grin and replied, “Yeah, I do a lot of things. I started out doing things like creating websites and doing graphic design.
In my line of work, I’m usually a part of a team that does a lot of different kinds of data analysis. We use some of our favorite tools to analyze and display data. This includes Excel, Numbers, and the like. We also do a lot of data visualization. Our data visualization, for instance, includes a variety of charts, graphs, and maps.
It sounds like you guys are looking at a lot of data and how to use it to help your users. In particular, our data visualization tool is called Excel. Excel is basically a spreadsheet that users can input data, and the spreadsheet will then output a variety of visualizations for you to use. As a data visualization tool, Excel is great for visualizing data with lots of features, such as pie charts and column charts.
I can’t imagine going to a site and working hard to explain the data in excel, then finding out that the data in Excel are not what you think they are. In fact, I’d be pretty worried if I saw a spreadsheet with “DELIRIOUS GORMAN” as the legend.
I think jonathan’s project is pretty neat. He’s made some neat visualizations that are really useful for business. A great example is the graph of revenue vs. profit. You can see a lot of interesting things that are easy to explain. But the graphs are so simple that if you’re a data visualization geek you can get lost.
I think a lot of us are looking for a really simple solution to a problem, and jonathan’s project is pretty simple. It’s simple because it is a visualization, and the visualizations are simple. I think it really shows the way forward. Its not just about getting data into the spreadsheet, but rather about creating a visual display that is accessible to all. I also think the project is a great example of a project that was done by a guy that loves data visualization.
I think the most interesting thing about jonathan’s project is the fact that it is completely free. It takes a lot of time to accomplish this, but you’ll be surprised how quickly and easily you can put your data together. There are a lot of visualization projects that are free, which is definitely a good thing. I think the project is really good, and I hope more data visualization projects like it are created.
