The coffee pot is one of the most basic tools we have in our toolbox, but it’s a tool that is also a mystery. What is it that makes a cup of coffee so special? I’m not sure, but I think it’s the ability to be able to stand in one place, having a few cups at a time, without having to move.
This is the kind of thing that we all go back to some time in our lives. That we can sit at a table, drinking coffee, and do what we want. That we can sit there and not worry about doing anything, even if we want to. That we can sit there and not care, and do nothing, and still be alive. That we can sit there and not fear death.

I drink it for breakfast, sometimes for lunch, and as a snack.
