I’ve been thinking a lot about the difference between “doing” and “being” lately. This started with a recent shift in my life that means I have no excuses, and it won’t stop. I’m trying to get my head in gear and get back to being me again.
This sounds like an odd title, but you know what? I dont know if that makes me a whiny, miserable, grumpy, and generally miserable human being, or if I’m just saying that to make myself sound normal. Either way, I’m trying to get this out there. I’m trying to become myself again.
Yeah, you’re probably right. Being a whiner is a lot easier when you just do it. When you start trying to do things your way all the time, it’s hard to be happy, just like when you start getting fat and lazy. It’s even harder when you’re trying to do something you’re not even sure if you like doing it.

Im pretty sure Im not alone when I say my life is miserable. I know it seems like Im the only one who has a regular life and Im feeling like Im the only one who has a permanent life. But Im not. I have a family, I have a job, Im usually well dressed, Im friends with a ton of people, Im pretty much in a great place in life. I love my job, I love my friends, I love my family.

If you’re struggling to find your own niche, you’re probably going to be a bit lost when trying to build a life. It’s hard to build a life when you’re busy doing things you don’t really like. You can build a life on the internet, but that takes time and effort that you don’t have.
This is why the internet is an incredible resource. It has a huge volume of people who have a lot more expertise than you do. People who can tell you what to do. People who can guide you. These are the people who can help you build a life.
