From soccer to Call of Duty, our culture has been inundated with so many games that it is difficult to maintain the game in its original form. This means, though, that our games will always be in a state of flux, which is how I view that term. What I want to do is to help create a “Warrior names” system for our games.
I see Warrior names as a way for people to identify their favorite genre of game. The more Warrior names we have, the more we can help our games survive, thrive, be relatable, and have a cultural identity.
I’m actually a very big fan of names like “Warrior” or “Mage.” I think they are descriptive and can be easily understood. Warriors are men and mages are women. I think that’s the way to go. To me, a name is a word that we can use to describe who we are, what we’re about, and what we do.
A name is a word that is used to describe us. In our case, it’s also used to describe what we do and who we are. We don’t need Warrior names to identify the games, we need Warrior names to identify the gamers.
As long as the gamer is a man, there’s nothing wrong with a name being a man’s name.
That said, our gamer name for this game is Black. If we have a female gamer, we will have a Warrior name for her.
Not sure if this is the same name as the Warrior name, but if it is, we should probably just go with that.

Another important thing is that we have no gender-specific gaming names. We’re using the names of the men that we can identify with, so I’m going to stick with “Black” for the sake of this blog post.
As it turns out, most of our favorite games are named after a warrior. The most popular is Call of Duty, followed by a long list of Assassin’s Creed titles (or maybe just Assassin’s Creed 2, but that’s getting a little too complicated). Then there’s the Call of Duty series, which includes a lot of games that have a similar style to what we are writing about here.
