I’ve been doing poke test on my sourdough bread for a few months now. I have a sourdough starter that is a bit older than the others I’ve been using. The sourdough starter has a very mild flavor and I think that’s because it’s been on the rise for a while. I prefer it to the others because it’s a little more delicate in flavor and it’s not as intense.
I’ve not been doing the poke test much recently, becasue its been a while since I have been using it. I have been using this recipe from my previous post, but I think I’ve been using it for the wrong reasons. I just dont like it much. I think its because it has a very sour flavor and I dont think it is the correct flavor for sourdough.
I think I am going to start using sourdough as my main bread and will make a few more recipes. I think the sourdough might be for me since its not as strong as the other two.
