I’m a person who loves the crunch and flavor that salad has. I like to add bits of fresh fruit, nuts, seeds, or anything else that I like to eat with my salad. When it comes to crunchy toppings, I add nothing but salt and pepper. This recipe is a bit of a cheat. I actually use a jar of apple juice I keep right next to me. The apple juice is very sweet, but the apples in the jar are not. So I’ll just adjust the recipe by adding an extra apple. If you want to try this recipe, I recommend that you use the apple juice.
You could also use plain water, but I always cook the salad in a pot so I don’t have to make the water for it.
As I’ve mentioned before, I do like the taste of apple juice (and apple chunks, when I have them). I also like macaroni salad, and even regular salads. I’ve also made this salad way too often that it’s almost hard to make it look good when the ingredients are so similar. This recipe will only take a minute to make, and it’ll make a salad that’s more pleasing to the eye.
The key for this recipe is adding the apple juice and apple chunks. If you have too much apple juice, it will look like you mixed up your salad. If you have too little apple juice, the salad will be mushy. The trick is to add those apple chunks in a minute or two. Then you can slice the apple and toss it into the salad.
