I believe the best thing for society is to stop the food companies from putting out tainted food. Why isn’t that happening? To be honest, we are eating too much of the wrong stuff. Not to mention, we are consuming too much oil.
As it turns out, a few years back an Australian study found that food workers on food miles were more likely to contract food poisoning, and the study concluded that one in three food workers contracts food poisoning on a food mile. Of course, this isn’t really surprising because the food companies want people to buy whatever they can get their hands on. However, food workers need to get a little more creative when it comes to picking their poison.
According to my research, the food poisoning rate for food miles is actually higher than it is for factory workers and factory workers on food miles are actually dying more often than factory workers on factory miles. I guess the food workers aren’t getting sick because of the products they’re consuming.
I think this is a good point. Food poisoning isnt really so much about the food itself, but more about the toxins the workers are consuming. I think companies should strive to make food safer by focusing on food miles instead of food miles. It would actually be good for the worker and the company.
Like other food safety issues, food miles are becoming more common. The number of food miles in the United States has nearly doubled in the last year. This is partially because we have more food miles than we did a year ago, but also because the food miles are more expensive.
Food miles are the amount of miles between the purchase of food and the actual consumption of it. So a small amount of food miles can be the difference between a delicious meal and a delicious meal that turns your stomach. For example, a McDonald’s meal that could have been a salad or a burger would have to be more than a mile to get in our bodies.
This is not an argument against a healthy diet. It’s just a reminder that it’s not always about the food.
