My favorite part of the trailer is when the dog says, “I’m a princess.” It’s so cute.
If I can be honest, I think that is one of the most adorable things in the trailer. For a dog to have a signature line like that is really cute. It’s also a way to show the importance of dogs in our lives, and that they matter.
A lot of people like to use the word “Princess” with their dogs, but for me it just means a really sweet dog who you have a lot of fun with. I’m not saying we always get the same thing out of our dogs, but I do think dogs can be pretty snarky when it comes to how they are treated.
And it’s not just the Princess who is adorable. I mean, it’s not like we can expect the people who own dogs to be very nice or treat them well. I know this is just one of those things that’s a small point, but I think the way that dogs are treated in the new trailer really shows how important dogs are in our lives. We don’t see them as humans do, who they should be treated with respect and kindness, but as our “playmates”.
If you have a dog, then you already know the kind of treatment you get. Most dogs treat you with affection, respect, and kindness, even if you are a guest in their home. They are treated like a family member, and it is heartwarming to see the cute puppy and his owner being so nice to each other.
It goes even further. After seeing the trailer, I was reminded of the classic video game, the “lion”. In it, a lion (in the game) is trying to get inside a house that has a dog and other animals in it. He gets into the house through the front door and is greeted by the dogs and everyone else who is just like him.
A lot of Disney movies have been about the family-like bond between animals and people. So it’s nice to see the Princess of Disney, Jasmine, interacting with the animals in her home. She’s a lion, which is probably the least-fancy of the three animals, but she is incredibly friendly and kind. We also see a lot of her in the film, which means she’s a princess too.

And because of that, it’s nice to see disney princess pets in a way that makes them more relatable to the average person. Sure, she’s a princess, but she’s also a woman who keeps her family together.
