It’s a little more than a little bit of me is a little anxious. It’s just a feeling that I’m always on the verge of having, but I almost always manage to say no. I’m pretty sure if I’d been able to say yes to everything I’ve ever wanted, I’d be in a better place.

In a word, “yes.” I’ve been to many places in my life where I have been so anxious I have nearly gotten into a fight, or had to bail on a friend’s party because of my own anxiety. But if I’ve gotten into a fight or bailed on a party, it was because I wanted to, not because I was afraid.

We can be so afraid of something that we can’t do it, or we feel like we have to. Im not saying that you have to be anxious all the time, but its important to understand that anxiety is a good thing. It can be a good thing because it prevents us from doing bad things.
