The term “healthy” has become almost synonymous with “food” and often it’s the food that gets our attention. In reality, healthy food is anything that is not going to wreak havoc on our bodies or our health. In most cases, it’s a snack or something to enjoy rather than a meal.

While it would be quite nice to have a healthy food that comes in a carton, there are many, many ways to consume healthy food without a carton. You don’t have to go to a health food store to find a great variety of snacks: chips, popcorn, cookies, crackers, etc. In fact, it’s usually simpler to find snacks that aren’t unhealthy. Instead, try to find foods that are not packed with calories.
